Our client, a prestigious recruitment consultancy, is seeking a highly accomplished Principal Recruitment Specialist with a deep focus on the technology sector. This role, based in Minna, Niger, NG , offers the flexibility of a fully remote work arrangement. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing top-tier technology talent for a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from innovative startups to established enterprises. This is a senior-level position requiring expert market knowledge, exceptional candidate sourcing skills, and a consultative approach to client partnerships. You will manage complex searches and build lasting relationships within the tech community.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute full-cycle recruitment processes for high-level technology roles, including but not limited to software engineering, data science, cybersecurity, and AI/ML. Develop and implement sophisticated sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates in highly competitive markets. Build and maintain a strong network of technology professionals and stay abreast of emerging tech trends and talent pools. Conduct in-depth candidate assessments, including technical screening and cultural fit evaluations. Partner closely with clients to understand their technical requirements, company culture, and strategic hiring objectives. Provide expert market insights and consultative guidance to clients on talent acquisition strategies. Manage candidate experience throughout the hiring process, ensuring timely communication and feedback. Negotiate complex compensation packages and facilitate successful offer acceptances. Contribute to the development and mentorship of junior recruitment team members. Actively participate in business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and expanding client relationships. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in all recruitment activities. Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in recruitment, with a significant specialization in placing technology roles. Demonstrated success in sourcing and placing niche or senior-level technology professionals. Expertise in utilizing a variety of sourcing tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow). Strong understanding of various technology stacks, programming languages, and development methodologies. Exceptional interviewing and assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate technical capabilities and cultural alignment. Excellent client management and consultative selling abilities. Strong negotiation and influencing skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical candidates and business leaders. Self-directed, results-oriented, and capable of managing a high volume of complex searches independently in a remote environment. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
