The company is looking for a Principal SCADA Engineer to lead the technical ownership of systems that control energy storage and solar assets.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for the SCADA platform, ensuring high availability and platform resilience
- Develop SCADA lifecycle processes and maintain enterprise standards for system architecture and alarm management
- Troubleshoot complex SCADA-related incidents and support integration of automation controllers
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on SCADA engineering experience, with 3 years in the Survalent application ecosystem preferred
- Experience managing SCADA system upgrades and patching in live environments
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex SCADA platform issues independently
- Understanding of redundancy, failover, and disaster recovery architecture
