Principal Solutions Engineer

Join a team of engineers and cryptographers building the infrastructure behind the next generation of financial systems.

We’re hiring a Principal Solutions Engineer to help fintechs, financial institutions, and enterprises across the Americas adopt Dfns. You’ll work directly with customers to design integrations, guide deployments, and ensure they can run our platform reliably in production. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role. You’ll design architectures for complex environments, support implementation, troubleshoot issues, and help teams integrate wallet infrastructure into their products and systems. You’ll work closely with CTOs, architects, and engineering teams while collaborating internally with product, backend, and security teams to deliver solutions that are secure, scalable, and production‑ready. Beyond individual integrations, you’ll help shape best practices, improve documentation, and feed product insights back to engineering to make the platform easier to adopt and operate.

Responsibilities

• Guide financial institutions and fintechs through seamless onboarding and integration.
• Build secure, scalable deployment pathways that bridge legacy and modern systems.
• Provide hands‑on support: troubleshoot, fix, and build solutions alongside client teams.
• Collaborate with sales on technical proposals, demos, and RFP responses.
• Maintain and improve technical documentation and developer guides.
• Gather client feedback and translate insights into product and API improvements.
• Represent Dfns at conferences, workshops, and customer meetings.

Requirements

• 10+ years in solutions engineering, forward‑deployed engineering, enterprise integration.
• Track record of helping institutions or enterprises deploy mission‑critical systems.
• Strong in TypeScript (or similar languages) with proven API experience (REST).
• Deep knowledge of cloud (AWS; GCP/Azure/Thales a plus), microservices, and serverless.
• Skilled in troubleshooting complex issues and delivering under pressure.
• Solid understanding of enterprise security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, CCSS).
• Excellent communicator, able to bridge technical and business conversations.
• Strong documentation, presentation, and demo skills.
• Knowledge of blockchain, custody, and financial workflows strongly preferred.

Terms

• Title: Principal Solutions Engineer
• Salary: $160,000‑240,000 per year (full‑time).
• Equity: 100‑200 stock options vested over 4 years.
