About

You will work across all Private Equity strategies, with a particular focus on the climate strategy and decarbonization topics.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sector, strategic and financial analysis of targeted companies to identify investment opportunities
  • Build financial models (including LBO and scenario analysis) to support investment decision making
  • Prepare investment memos and participate in the investment committee process
  • Actively participate in all stages of the investment process, including negotiations and transaction structuring
  • Take part in comprehensive due diligence processes, coordinating with advisors and internal teams across all due diligence workstreams
  • Screen and analyze deal flow, preparing concise recommendations for internal review and presenting findings to the investment committee
  • Contribute to portfolio monitoring and value-creation initiatives post-investment, including the tracking of key performance indicators and support of strategic growth projects
  • Participate in various strategic projects as required, contributing analytical insights and sector knowledge

Profile

  • Between 0 and 2 years of experience
  • Previous experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, Transaction Services, or Corporate M&A
  • Experience in due diligence workstreams and transaction execution, with hands-on involvement in analyzing, structuring, and finalizing investment opportunities
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling abilities, with experience building and operating complex models (LBO, DCF, sensitivities), and a strong command of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and present clearly to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluent in both French and English, with the capability to operate in an international team and context
  • Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and adapt to a fast-paced investment environment
  • Academic background in finance, business, economics, engineering, or a related quantitative field from a leading institution
