Job Description

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Support the analysis of current finance processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
• Assist in mapping end-to-end processes using tools such as Visio, Miro, or similar platforms
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation, including SOPs and controlled process libraries
• Assist in gathering, cleaning, and analysing data to support process insights and decision-making
• Help prepare reporting packs, presentations, and KPI dashboards
• Coordinate with finance teams to schedule workshops, testing sessions, and feedback discussions
• Assist in preparing training materials, user guides, and change communication documentation
• Identify opportunities for automation and process simplification
• Support the adoption of new systems, tools, and process methodologies
• Contribute ideas and insights to drive efficiency and enhance overall finance operations

Skills & Experience

• Basic understanding of finance or business processes
• Data analysis skills (Excel/Sheets essential; Power BI a plus)
• Experience with process mapping tools or workflow diagrams

Qualification

• A degree in Finance or a related field Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles would be advantageous

An Engineering degree or Master’s is also considered, provided the candidate has relevant experience within a finance environment.
