Are you passionate about embedding technology into business processes to drive efficiency and innovation? We are looking for a Process Automation Analyst to join a dynamic Global D&T-inspired team within the alcohol manufacturing and distribution sector. This is a hybrid permanent role, based in Sandton or Stellenbosch, where you will have the opportunity to transform processes and contribute to cutting-edge HyperAutomation initiatives.

You will be part of the HyperAutomation Hub (AHH), a fusion team focused on identifying and implementing automation opportunities across our regional operations. The team leverages leading-edge platforms including UiPath, OutSystems, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Chatbots), and other automation technologies to deliver real business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Product Owner in translating functional requirements of potential business process automation into a buildable digital solution.
  • Drive awareness and adoption for HyperAutomation across regional operations; identify and scale automation opportunities.
  • Lead process discovery and value engineering activities, translating functional requirements of potential RPA business processes into actual RPA solutions.
  • Accelerate HyperAutomation solution delivery by participating in the full automation life cycle, from business intake and technology selection to IT readiness, development, testing, and go-live.
  • Understand business requirements, assess complexity, and maintain process design documentation while communicating functional and process changes. Ensure product design and implementation adhere to functional requirements and industry best practices (Quality, Architecture, Compliance & Security).
  • Deliver working product enhancements within allocated timescales and quality standards, minimizing rework and promoting a zero-defect culture.
  • Collaborate with Developers on solution design to ensure alignment with overall best practices.
  • Drive Proof of Value initiatives and other internal team projects.
  • Conduct continuous improvement analysis on existing internal processes and identify process optimizations.
