This contractor position is vital for daily monitoring and optimization in an upgrader facility. You'll have at least 5 years of relevant experience, hold a Chemical Engineering Degree, and be a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with APEGA. Your expertise will support Engineering Work Packages and collaboration with the operations team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize crude distillation and sulfur recovery units
• Develop Engineering Work Packages for MOCs
• Collaborate with operations for process adjustments
• Create proactive monitoring tools for long-term plans
• Conduct incident investigations and document findings

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years as a process engineer in an upgrader
• Chemical Engineer Degree required
• P.Eng certification with APEGA
• Experience with operational issue resolution
• Familiarity with PSM activities and documentation
