Process Engineering Manager

A prominent manufacturer in the semiconductors industry is seeking a Process Engineering Manager in the Frederick, Maryland area.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for optimizing production processes, leading engineering initiatives, and implementing best-in-class process control methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead process design, development, scale-up, and optimization initiatives within a manufacturing environment
• Drive continuous improvement efforts using data-driven methodologies and lean principles
• Implement and manage Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Critical to Quality (CTQ) frameworks
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, quality, and leadership teams to improve efficiency, yield, and product quality
• Mentor and develop process engineering talent while establishing best practices across the organization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline required
• 7+ years of progressive experience in process engineering or process control within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of leading process design, scale-up, and optimization initiatives
• Strong experience in SPC, CTQ, and data-driven process improvement methodologies
• Background in plastics extrusion or similar manufacturing processes is highly preferred

Preferred Background:

• Experience in building materials, plastics, or related manufacturing industries
• Prior leadership experience managing or mentoring engineering teams
• Demonstrated success improving process stability, throughput, and product quality
