Your future responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 15+ R&D Process Engineers.
- Define and drive the roadmap of the Process Engineering group in alignment with the Division’s mission and strategic direction.
- Create a structured, professional engineering environment that enables high‑quality research and innovation.
- Establish clear ownership, working methods, and documentation standards aligned with industrial fabrication principles in a research‑focused setting.
- Drive towards stable, reproducible, and scalable process capabilities supporting the transition from lab concepts to higher technology readiness levels.
- Allocate resources and structure priorities.
- Address operational challenges to ensure a trusted, high‑quality fabrication environment.
- Strengthen collaboration both with teams within the division, and across the company.
- Represent the Process Engineering team in broader company initiatives and cross‑divisional topics.
- Take ownership of fundamental infrastructure projects related to the cleanrooms.
- Act as one of the key links to external customers and research partners, ensuring alignment of expectations and technical clarity.
Your profile
- Advanced degree in relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Experience in a research environment is an advantage.
- Background in process integration and cross‑functional technical coordination.
- Leadership potential with the motivation to grow into broader people management responsibilities. Leadership experience is an advantage.
- Experience leading projects and driving structured execution in complex technical environments.
- Demonstrated ability to introduce structure, improve ways of working, and guide teams through change.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence across teams and stakeholders.

Compensation
- This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for employees in non‑university research (Research CA) starting in occupational group F (F1 salary = EUR 4.757, paid 14 times a year) based on 38.5 hours per week.
- Competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your experience and qualifications, starting with a minimum gross salary of EUR 70.00.
