Procurement Analyst III

12+ months Contract

Montreal, QC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

For now client is considering local to montreal candidates only.

Responsibilities:

• Execute strategic sourcing initiatives and drive cost optimization across indirect spend categories (IT, services, external workforce)
• Conduct market analysis and support category management strategies
• Manage end-to-end RFX processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ), including vendor evaluation and selection
• Lead contract negotiations and collaborate with legal teams to ensure favorable terms
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers across global teams
• Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks while ensuring compliance with policies
• Track sourcing activities and deliver performance reports on savings and procurement efficiency
• Support process improvements and adoption of procurement tools and systems
• Act as a subject matter expert for procurement practices and tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management
• Strong experience in vendor negotiations and contract management
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders in a global, cross-functional environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with procurement tools such as Ariba, Ivalua, or Beeline
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Financial services experience is a plus
• Bilingual (English/French) is a plus
