Business Unit

The Procurement Solutions value proposition at HRS initiates and completes the supply chain of Intelligent Procurement, Smart Booking, and Invisible Payment, aiming to achieve continuous, cyclic optimization.

Within this framework, HRS begins by optimizing preferred programs through the ingestion of all internal and external spend and behavioral data associated with customers’ hospitality activities. Based on this consolidated data, they develop tailored market strategies and deliver optimized hotel program recommendations that reduce direct and indirect costs while increasing traveler satisfaction.

Once aligned with the customer, HRS leads negotiations with suppliers to contractually secure optimal conditions in line with the procurement strategy. The company then ensures full and accurate availability of the program across booking channels, as well as adherence in financial reconciliation.

Position

As a Procurement Consultant (Travel / Lodging) (all genders) at HRS, the role acts as a strategic advisor and performance driver for global enterprise clients. It owns the entire travel spend of assigned customers - across Transient, Meetings & Groups, and Longstay -ensuring that travel management aligns with business objectives in Savings, Traveler Satisfaction, Sustainability, and Compliance.

The role is a key enabler of HRS’ industry-first AI-powered Copilot Platform, guiding customers step by step and ensuring they can interact with the AI effectively to achieve their defined goals.

It drives measurable value creation by connecting business objectives to data and insights. The role strengthens customer relationships by leading local negotiations with preferred suppliers and optimizing customer-specific hotel programs. Additionally, it contributes to expanding HRS’ footprint within client accounts, directly supporting upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

What You Will Be Doing

  • You take full ownership of your customer’s total travel spend – across all categories (Transient, Meetings & Groups, Longstay) and both managed and unmanaged spend
  • You map and manage key stakeholders within the customer’s organization – across markets, business units, and functions – to build a strong internal network and identify expansion opportunities
  • You consult the customer on strategic goals in key dimensions like savings, traveler satisfaction, sustainability, and compliance
  • You lead the negotiation process for the customer’s individual hotel program (RFP) and you conduct targeted re-negotiations with hotels in key destinations to achieve optimal outcomes for the customer
  • You guide the customer through HRS’ Copilot AI platform, acting as a change agent who ensures that “next best actions” are understood, adopted, and executed effectively to optimize against set targets
  • With your holistic understanding of the customer’s spend, you support the Customer Success Manager in upsell and cross-sell initiatives, grounding every recommendation in performance data and insights
