Procurement Manager

About

Our client, a global (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, is recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join them on their new expansion project. Based in a charming French location, this is on a contractual basis, and will involve significantly growing the site's capacity for the manufacture of Biologics.

Responsibilities

• Manage tenders for direct procurement of equipment including bidders list development, tender receipt, evaluation, and management of engineering consultant/general contractors’ technical evaluations through to selection
• Negotiate contracts to procure equipment for construction projects including delivery lead times that meet project schedules
• Provide input into cost management and project budget management
• Expediting and delivery management of directly procured equipment
• Updating of the Total Cost of Ownership policy

Requirements

• Educated to degree level or equivalent with up to 10+ years’ experience in procurement, contracts, and supply chain management
• Experience of project procurement
