As a Working Student - Product Analyst (f/d/m), you will support our Product & UX team in making data-informed decisions that improve our digital health products. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to analyze user behavior, monitor product performance, and contribute to meaningful product improvements. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in product analytics within a fast-paced health tech environment, while being guided by experienced analysts and product leaders. Your work will directly contribute to building better product experiences and advancing personalized medicine through data.
Responsibilities
- Support the analysis of product usage data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Contribute to defining and tracking key product metrics (e.g. activation, engagement, retention)
- Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports to monitor product performance
- Support the analysis of experiments (e.g. A/B tests) to evaluate product changes
- Collaborate with Product Managers on tracking concepts and event definitions
- Help translate data into clear, actionable insights for the product team
- Work closely with engineering and data teams to ensure data reliability and quality
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Consistent availability of ~20 hours per week during the semester
- Good working knowledge of SQL and comfortable writing and adapting queries
- Basic experience with Python for data analysis (e.g. pandas, notebooks)
- Analytical thinking and enjoyment of working with data to uncover insights
- Ideally, first exposure to BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau) or product analytics tools (e.g. PostHog, Amplitude)
- Curious, self-driven, and comfortable working in a cross-functional team
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
