Product Application Engineer

About Our Client

Our client has been a technology leader for flow sensors for small volumes for decades. To further develop this lead, we are looking for you as a Product Application Engineer. You understand how sensors are used in real systems and can use this knowledge to develop new fields of application and credible technical content. You can analyze complex requirements in a structured way, explain and present them understandably, and apply this as follows:

Your Role

• Build and contribute application knowledge
• Specific analysis of customer applications and their potential uses
• Structuring, evaluation, and documentation of customer-specific inquiries
• Development of well-founded decision-making bases
• Adaptation of existing products according to customer wishes
• Leading technical sales training
• Discover new fields of application and develop ideas
• Development of new sensor and solution concepts in close cooperation with internal specialist departments, including active market observation
• Targeted exploration of new products and analysis of patterns from various customer inquiries
• Generate technical content
• Precise documentation of user options and possible integration methods
• Interface internally/externally
• Close support of customers on-site and direct exchange with internal departments such as Sales, Development & Marketing to ensure flawless clarification of technical feasibility and the best possible implementation of customer wishes
• Preparation of all collected findings for management and specialist departments

What You Need to Succeed

• High customer and service orientation
• Innovative personality
• Willingness to undertake regular field service activities
• Strong communication skills in negotiation-level German and English, both written and spoken
• Above-average analytical skills
• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sensor Technology, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical degree with relevant further education, as well as several years of professional experience in the field of measurement technology, sensor technology, or measuring electronics
