Product Application Engineer – Building Automation

AI in buildings only scales when the field hardware, controls integration, deployment model, and energy strategy are reliable.

We’re hiring a Product Application Engineer – Building Automation to join the BrainBox AI hardware team.

This role is a strong fit for someone who understands how HVAC controls, IoT devices, edge software, cloud-connected systems, energy optimization, and real building equipment come together.

Ideal experience:

• HVAC controls / building automation
• Energy optimization strategies for HVAC systems
• BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, REST APIs
• Docker containerization and Linux environments
• Node-RED or similar workflow tools
• Field troubleshooting, commissioning, and product validation
• BMS/DDC platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Distech, Schneider Electric, Delta Controls, or similar
• Solution selling or customer-facing technical support experience is a plus

This is a hands-on product application role for someone who can turn field realities into scalable product improvements.

We’re building the hardware and integration foundation that helps Cloud BMS, AI Control, and ARIA scale across real buildings.
