Product Architect

About

Akkodis is seeking a Product Architect for a Contract with a client in Reston, VA. The candidate must have strong expertise in domain architecture with deep experience designing large‑scale cloud‑native, distributed systems for Sales and Marketing ecosystems.

Rate Range

Rate Range: $51/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Product Architect Job Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the end‑to‑end domain architecture for Sales and Marketing platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and long‑term system strategy.
• Partner with engineering teams to design scalable, cloud‑native, and event‑driven systems that support high‑volume, business‑critical workflows.
• Collaborate with product and cross‑functional teams to translate business priorities into actionable architectural direction and technology roadmaps.
• Evaluate new technologies, conduct design explorations, and recommend solutions that balance innovation, simplicity, and operational efficiency.
• Guide teams on architectural patterns, reuse of existing capabilities, and best practices to reduce complexity and accelerate delivery.
• Mentor engineers, influence architectural decisions across teams, and support consistent adoption of modern design principles.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years in IT with strong experience across architecture, design, development, and system delivery.
• Proven expertise in cloud‑native architecture, microservices, APIs, and event‑driven system design.
• Strong understanding of Sales and Marketing ecosystem capabilities, workflows, and constraints with hands‑on experience designing large‑scale enterprise solutions.

Pay Details

Pay Details: $51.00 to $53.00 per hour
