Taskie is building the trusted marketplace for hiring verified handymen and service providers across Nigeria. Today, finding reliable service providers is fragmented, informal, and often risky. Taskie solves this by connecting customers with verified professionals while handling payments, accountability, and dispute resolution on platform. We are building a scalable, mobile-first product to transform how services are delivered.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly creative and driven Product & Brand Designer to join Taskie on a 3-month remote contract, with strong potential for extension or full-time conversion.

This role will be responsible for ensuring consistency in both brand representation and user experience across all digital products and communication materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and user-friendly UI/UX for Taskie’s mobile and web applications
• Create high-converting landing pages and website experiences
• Translate product requirements into clean, modern, and scalable designs
• Design marketing and brand materials (social media, ads, presentations, campaigns)
• Maintain and evolve Taskie’s design system and brand identity
• Collaborate closely with founders, engineers, and partners
• Bring new ideas to improve product and user experience
• Ensure consistency across all user-facing experiences

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in product design, UI/UX, brand design, or related fields
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Photoshop, and similar tools
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX and branding work
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Highly reliable, very detail-oriented, and organized
• Creative thinker with an excellence-driven mindset
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Undergraduate or college degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or a related field
• Experience working with tech startups or digital products is a plus
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
