Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hyderabad for a Product Design Engineer. The position involves designing and developing both mechanical and medical products, with a focus on orthopedic medical devices. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and refining product designs, utilizing Solid works (CAD) software, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and participating in the product development lifecycle to ensure innovation and high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in product design, product development, or R&D (medical device industry experience is a plus).
• Draw, update, and maintain product designs and engineering documentation.
• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Ensure designs comply with manufacturing feasibility, technical standards, and customer requirements.
• Deliver projects within defined budget and timelines.
• Proficient in SolidWorks with advanced modeling, surface modeling, and ability to handle complex assemblies.
• Perform engineering analyses, including tolerance stack-ups and feasibility studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech / B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design
• Expertise in Mechanical Engineering principles
• Knowledge of Product Development processes, including prototyping and testing
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate technical concepts effectively
• Experience in the medical devices sector or relevant industry is preferred

Pay: ₹330,240.59 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
