About the Location

At the Gambro Dialysatoren GmbH site within Vantive, we specialize in the development and manufacturing of innovative dialyzers and dialysis catheters. Around 1,100 highly qualified employees are dedicated daily to improving the quality of life for patients with kidney diseases or kidney failure.

Responsibilities

Within our R&D department, you will undertake the following tasks:

  • Product Design Owner (PDO) within the product family of acute filters and dialyzers
  • Technical expert for lifecycle management activities within acute filter and dialyzer R&D
  • Organization, planning, and execution of sustainable activities in accordance with current quality assurance/environmental/regulatory standards
  • Supervision of Change Owners and PI Leads within the product family to complete tasks according to plans, milestones, and business requirements
  • Review and approval of Design Control documentation to maintain activities
  • Creation, maintenance, and updating of the technical specification describing the product's features and functions, and associated verification and validation documents
  • Organization, planning, and tracking of the execution of product changes, supplier changes, and labeling changes related to lifecycle management projects
  • Support of worldwide product audits according to international/regional/national regulations; technical support for regulatory issues
  • Participation in product/process/cost improvements related to lifecycle management projects
  • Provision of resource estimation and forecasting
  • Ensuring good internal and cross-functional communication as well as regular status updates of projects

Requirements

  • University degree in chemistry, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of experience with medical devices, ideally in the acute therapy area
  • Membrane science and/or filtration/purification knowledge
  • Independent work style
  • High flexibility
  • Very good and effective communication skills with internal and external customers
  • Very good command of English, both written and spoken
