Product & Design Specialist

About

The Product & Design Specialist plays a key role in managing the selection and allocation of finish materials for insurance repair projects. This role requires a strong understanding of customer needs, budget considerations, and design preferences, while delivering exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the showroom
• Communicate with customers in a timely and professional manner
• Guide clients through the product selection process one-on-one
• Understand and align product selections with customer needs, style, and budget
• Provide expert knowledge on materials, finishes, flooring, and fixtures
• Place, track, and follow up on orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction
• Coordinate with installers, suppliers, and production teams
• Maintain showroom and warehouse organization and product displays
• Stay current on industry trends, materials, and design innovations
• Assist with loading and unloading products as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service or sales experience
• Flooring industry knowledge required; kitchen and bath experience preferred
• Basic understanding of construction or home renovation processes is a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities
• Ability to lift at least 25lbs

• Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
