Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver design projects that have significant scope and complexity.
• Transform broad, conceptual ideas into valuable products for our extensive user base.
• Create intuitive user flows and experiences that make complex tasks easier to navigate.
• Design innovative experiences that evolve and enhance our visual systems.
• Play an integral role in shaping the future direction of our products.
• Solicit and provide feedback within the design team to elevate our quality standards, while also mentoring colleagues.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content strategists to guide the user experience from concept to launch.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years of experience designing complex software products with an emphasis on user experience, interaction, and visual design.
• Proven experience in conducting advanced research studies that promote business growth through design innovation.
• Experience leading comprehensive development efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing design roadmaps, and making impactful decisions that balance user needs with business objectives.
• Expertise in advanced prototyping techniques and emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in leading the design of complex products for virtual, augmented, mixed reality, and other cutting-edge technologies.
• Experience collaborating and influencing stakeholders across User Research, Engineering, and Product Management.
• Advanced skills in prototyping 3D interactions or interfaces using Unity and other leading tools.
• Expertise in designing novel user inputs like hand or eye tracking.
• Experience designing products aimed at developers and creators with a focus on scalability and effective platformization.
• Proven ability to integrate AI tools to enhance workflows and achieve measurable impact.
• Commitment to adhering to ethical AI practices in design and implementation.
• Continual development of AI skills and knowledge of emerging technologies.

Public Compensation

$170,000/year to $236,000/year plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
