Insight Global
About the role
About the Role
We are looking for a Product Designer to join a dedicated team building and evolving a clinical data platform serving the clinical operations space. You will shape the user experience of web applications that surface insights from complex healthcare datasets — including clinical trials, medical claims, and provider data.
This role sits at the intersection of design, data, and clinical operations. You will collaborate closely with product owners, software engineers, and data teams to translate complex workflows into intuitive, high‑impact interfaces — designing for both life sciences professionals and technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences for applications that present clinical trial data, provider information, and analytical insights
- Conduct user research and usability testing with clinical operations stakeholders to validate design decisions and surface unmet needs
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity UI designs in Figma
- Collaborate with full stack engineers to ensure design feasibility and maintain consistency across product surfaces
- Develop and maintain a scalable design system and component library that supports rapid iteration
- Work with data analysts and data engineers to design effective data visualizations for large‑scale clinical and healthcare datasets
- Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and cross‑functional workshops to align design output with business and clinical objectives
- Contribute to discovery and design activities directly with customers and stakeholders
Skills and Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in UX/UI or product design for data‑heavy or enterprise SaaS products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end product design — from discovery and research through to polished UI and shipped features
- Proficiency in Figma; experience with prototyping, interaction design, and design systems
- Experience designing for complex data visualization — dashboards, tables, charts, and filtering interfaces
- Familiarity with web design patterns and responsive design principles
- Experience collaborating directly with frontend and full stack engineers in agile environments
- Exposure to healthcare, life sciences, pharma, or clinical research is a strong plus
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting with a distributed, cross‑timezone team
