About the role

Job Purpose

The Product Development Project Manager – Distribution & Last Mile (DLM) will be responsible for leading the development, implementation and scaling of DLM solutions across Europe, ensuring proper execution of the European strategic roadmap. The role combines project leadership, cross-functional coordination and commercial acumen, ensuring that solutions are profitable, scalable and aligned with market and country requirements. The position reports directly to the European Director – Sales & Product Development (DLM).

Key Responsibilities

Product Roadmap Execution

  • Lead end-to-end execution of assigned product development projects.
  • Translate strategic priorities into structured project plans with clear milestones.
  • Manage timelines, risks, dependencies and resources.
  • Ensure delivery within agreed scope, timeline and quality standards.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with Country Sales teams, Sales Operations, Pricing & Solutions Design, Operations, IT and Customer Service.
  • Ensure alignment between product design, operational feasibility and commercial strategy.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with local and European teams.

Commercial & Financial Alignment

  • Support development of business cases for new products or enhancements.
  • Ensure solutions comply with margin and profitability standards.
  • Contribute to the definition of the value proposition and commercial materials.
  • Ensure commercial opportunities align with product strategy.

Scaling & Standardisation

  • Lead the roll-out of DLM products across multiple European countries.
  • Identify local adaptation requirements while maintaining European standardisation.
  • Monitor post-launch performance and propose improvements.
  • Document processes and best practices.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the central coordination point between the European team and countries.
  • Support Country DLM Sales Heads during implementation phases.
  • Report progress, risks and mitigation plans to the European Director.
  • Ensure transparency and disciplined execution.

Continuous Improvement

  • Analyse product performance and customer feedback.
  • Identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Propose improvements to increase competitiveness and profitability.

Organisational Context

  • Reports to: European Director – Sales & Product Development (DLM).
  • Collaborates with Country Sales, Vertical Market Teams, Pricing & Solutions Design, European Sales Operations, Operations and IT teams.
  • Scope: Europe.

Required Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain or last-mile distribution.
  • Experience managing complex projects in multinational environments.
  • Exposure to product development or logistics solution implementation.
  • Experience in commercial environments with focus on pricing and profitability.
