About the role:
In this role, you will support the strategy, pricing, and implementation of the product line, ensuring alignment with the department's objectives and long-term vision. You will help prioritize new product developments and contribute to their successful market introduction. In addition, you will support the management and optimization of production locations, including the planning and coordination of investment initiatives. The role also involves assisting with performance monitoring, reporting, and customer claim management to ensure continuous improvement and high customer satisfaction. Furthermore, you will support cost-saving initiatives and contribute to effective Working Capital management for the product line under the guidance of the local Product Line Manager.
Your responsibilities:
- Support the execution of the Product Line strategy in alignment with internal guidelines to achieve business objectives, including Gross Profit (P&L) targets and cost reduction initiatives
- Contribute to the development and implementation of pricing guidelines for the sales organization in line with overall business goals
- Assist in prioritizing R&D projects to ensure alignment with strategic product line objectives and market needs
- Support product industrialization activities, including the evaluation and coordination of toll compounding versus in-house production
- Contribute to financial and operational management of the Product Line, including CAPEX planning, Net Working Capital optimization, reporting, and risk assessment
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- University degree with an engineering scope
- Transversal management and project management skills
- Good business and finance knowledge
- Technical expertise in polymer chemistry and engineering
- First experience in a relevant field
- Fluent in English and very good in French language
