On behalf of our client, a world-leading manufacturer of highly specialized pumps and control systems, we are looking for a technically adept Product Management & Engineering Manager (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of a market, trend, and competition-based product roadmap
• Responsibility for the product lifecycle including new product development (NPD), revision, and expansion of existing products / product lines
• Internal "product expert" for defined product categories and close cooperation with relevant product managers
• Market research for new products and services, and derivation of relevant business strategies
• Close internal coordination and collaboration with Sales Managers, Marketing, and Operations in aligning new product launch plans and the market introduction of new products
• Management of local Sales & Channel Partner Support
• Management of the local engineering team regarding maintenance, development, quality improvements, compliance, and documentation
• Promotion of a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and safety within the team

Profile

• Successfully completed studies in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration. MBA is a plus
• 5 - 10 years of professional experience in product management, marketing, and/or product development. Sales or Sales Support experience desired
• Experience in developing strategic product lifecycle plans, NPD roadmap development, and product launches
• Good ability to interpret data and draw relevant conclusions. Solid financial understanding
• Ability to bring together teams from different areas and drive decisions that focus on customer benefit
• You enjoy working "hands-on", pragmatically, result- and solution-oriented
• You enjoy working in a team with numerous interfaces, such as Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Finance
• You communicate confidently and precisely in fluent English and German
