Product Manager

About

Our customer needs a Product Manager to lead early phases of the product value chain within their Product Strategy & Offering team. You'll analyze market trends in managed regions for target client segments and assess the client base to evaluate needs and buying behavior. Your role involves studying competitors' pricing and positioning, identifying market gaps and unique selling propositions to shape differentiation strategies. You'll align with sales and customers to review requirements and share insights within the product organization to maximize value. The team provides market research insights to articulate product value and pricing, oversees budgets, drives investment decisions, and prioritizes the entire product portfolio. You'll translate company strategy into product evolution and innovation by orchestrating and integrating with the partner ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business and economics, information technology, or engineering
• Minimum 10 years' experience in the software financial industry with knowledge of banking products
• Skilled in market research and presenting to analysts, focusing on key financial industry players
• Strong analytical and data skills; adept at turning data into actionable decisions and understanding metrics
• Strategic mindset: ability to identify markets and segments, define winning strategies, and plan for the long term
• Extensive network and effective networking abilities
• Proficiency in English (German and Italian are an advantage)
• Master's degree in business and economics, information technology, or engineering would be a bonus
• Experience in a B2B SaaS organization would be a bonus
• Avaloq products knowledge would be a bonus
