Primary Responsibilities and Duties SOC Operations & Requirements Analysis Conduct in-depth research into SOC operational workflows, analyst pain points, and efficiency bottlenecks to identify automation opportunities Partner with SOC teams, analysts, and detection engineers to gather comprehensive requirements for automation and AI-enhanced capabilities Analyze SOC metrics, case handling data, and operational KPIs to inform product priorities and measure success AI Agent & Automation Product Management Own the product roadmap for AI SOC automation tools, infrastructure, and Mixture-of-Experts AI agents Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog across the full concept-to-delivery lifecycle Collaborate with AI/ML engineering teams to translate SOC operational needs into technical requirements for intelligent automation Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with SOC leadership, senior analysts, and detection engineering teams to ensure product solutions align with operational realities Partner with UX teams to design intuitive interfaces for SOC analysts and automation management tools Collaborate with data science and AI/ML teams to enhance AI agent capabilities and decision-making Product Delivery & Optimization Act as the product delivery champion for SOC automation initiatives, ensuring solutions meet operational requirements and performance standards Monitor and measure the impact of automation tools on SOC efficiency, analyst productivity, and customer outcomes Continuously optimize AI agent performance and automation workflows based on operational feedback and data analysis Strategic Planning & Communication Contribute to the broader MDR service strategy and AI/ML product initiatives Present automation roadmap progress and operational impact to senior product executives and SOC leadership Support pricing and positioning discussions for AI-enhanced MDR service capabilities Key Skills SOC Operations Expertise Strong understanding of SOC workflows, incident response processes, threat detection methodologies, and analyst challenges Knowledge of SIEM/SOAR platforms, detection engineering practices, and security orchestration technologies Familiarity with SOC metrics, KPIs, and operational efficiency measurement AI & Automation Acumen Solid understanding of AI/ML applications in cybersecurity Knowledge of automation frameworks and workflow orchestration Technical aptitude to understand AI model performance, training data requirements, and deployment considerations Product Management Excellence Proven ability to translate operational requirements into technical product specifications Experience managing complex technical backlogs with multiple stakeholder groups Strong analytical skills to measure product impact on operational metrics and customer outcomes Communication & Collaboration Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams (engineers, data scientists) and operational teams (SOC analysts, detection engineers) Experience driving cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced, mission-critical environments Skilled at presenting complex technical concepts to executive audiences Key Competencies AI/ML lifecycle knowledge, including model development and deployment Industry certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GNFA, or equivalent cybersecurity credentials Problem Complexity Works with moderate autonomy on complex SOC automation challenges. Identifies operational inefficiencies and technology gaps, and develops AI-powered solutions using sound judgment aligned with cybersecurity best practices. Partners with SOC leadership and senior product management on strategic automation initiatives. Managing and Measuring Work Collaborates with SOC management and engineering teams to define clear automation objectives and success metrics. Monitors improvements in SOC operations and AI agent performance, and establishes feedback loops between product capabilities and operational outcomes. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with direct exposure to SOC operations, threat detection, or security service delivery 3+ years of product management experience at a cybersecurity vendor or security-focused technology company Experience or working knowledge of AI/ML applications in cybersecurity or automation technologies Preferred Qualifications Hands-on SOC experience as a SOC analyst, detection engineer, or incident responder Experience in high-volume, time-sensitive service delivery or operational environments Working knowledge of machine learning model development and deployment On-Camera Policy To support a fair, transparent, and engaging interview experience, candidates interviewing remotely are expected to be on camera during all video interviews.
