About the role
The Product Manager, Behavioral Health & Wellness Solutions will play a pivotal role in defining the core value proposition of our behavioral health and wellness offerings within the Utilization Management sector. In this dynamic position, you will outline the product vision, develop comprehensive execution strategies, and foster alignment among key stakeholders. With your background in healthcare and health insurance, you will oversee the product lifecycle from inception to launch, closely collaborating with the Delivery team throughout sprint and milestone reviews to ensure successful outcomes.
This position is available with hybrid or remote flexibility. Candidates within 50 miles of our office are required to work onsite for three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
Key Responsibilities: • Gain a deep understanding of the company’s strategic roadmap and competitive landscape to develop a robust product vision and strategy that maximizes value. Clearly communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions to diverse audiences, from product teams to executives. • Proactively anticipate future needs by leveraging metrics and qualitative insights to identify opportunities for product improvement. • Represent the product at all governance meetings. • Serve as the accountable owner for all products and tools within the assigned portfolio. • Drive cross-product and cross-customer shared value and learning. • Own the product backlog, utilizing input from internal teams and partners to continuously refresh and prioritize tasks. • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education: • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in science, technology, mathematics, or a related field; OR relevant experience or education as determined by the company in lieu of a degree.
Experience: • Required: 3 years of Product experience, including 3 years with the Software Lifecycle and at least 1 year of advanced domain expertise.
Skills: • Strong business acumen for P&L management. • Effective communication skills. • Conflict management abilities.
Travel Requirement: 0% - 25%
Work Environment: • Office-based or remote work options available. • Regular teaching or training of others. • Occasional travel required between various work sites.
Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds regularly; lifting between 10 to 25 pounds is rare.

Pay Range: Minimum: $86,400.00 | Maximum: $138,600.00
Base salary may vary based on qualifications, experience, contributions, internal equity, and market considerations. The displayed salary range may not include geographic differentials applied by Highmark based on local markets.
