Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identifies, develops, evaluates, introduces, and manages engineering solutions that meet technology needs for product and control system technology. Applies control theory and mathematical modeling to the design and control of systems with desired behaviors. Understands operability, boundary definition, cycle optimization, control logic, control-related software, sensors, hardware and software algorithms, and feedback information to control the performance of devices, subsystems, and systems.
  • Requires specialized knowledge of function. Influences strategy development in its area of responsibility, including resource control and policy formulation.
  • Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform its work.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of judgment to make decisions, and manage complex tasks or problems in the areas of operations, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering. Has the ability to evaluate the quality of information provided and knows how to ask relevant questions to stakeholders. Is able to solve problems with innovative solutions that go beyond established parameters, but also to develop recommendations. Uses internal and external resources outside of its own function to help make a decision.
  • Directs, as applicable, functional teams or projects with reduced resource needs, risks, and/or complexity. Expresses difficult concepts and can influence the opinions of colleagues on particular subjects. Can lead others to consider an issue from a different perspective.

Basic Qualifications

  • For roles outside the US - This role requires advanced experience in function and digital audio workstation. Knowledge equivalent to a Master's degree from an accredited university (or a Bachelor's degree with experience in a relevant field).
  • For roles in the US - Master's degree from an accredited university (or High School diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in function).
