About the role

About

Our client, a technology player specializing in digital content protection and B2B software solutions for major international clients, is looking for a Product Manager Anti-Piracy Services - H/F to support the development of a strategic offering related to the monitoring, measurement, and combating of unauthorized video content distribution.

Based in Rennes / Cesson-Sévigné, within a small team, you will join the Product Management team and report directly to the product manager. The position is within an international environment, with regular collaboration with engineering teams primarily located in Madrid, as well as with stakeholders based in France and internationally. Written and oral communication is mainly in English.

You will be responsible for an existing, mature product that currently needs to be structured, stabilized, and enhanced. The challenge is not to start from scratch, but to provide a clear product vision, prioritize future developments, and bring modern product management methods, with a strong data and AI dimension.

Your role will cover the entire product cycle, from discovery to delivery. You will work at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, data pipelines, video streaming, and internet intelligence. The solutions concerned allow, among other things, to detect, analyze, and disrupt the illegal distribution of live or on-demand content on IPTV platforms, websites, social networks, and other digital ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage the roadmap for monitoring, measurement, and takedown products, in line with business, technical, security, and legal needs.
  • Structure user needs, write user stories, define features, and prioritize developments with engineering teams.
  • Contribute to the modernization of the existing product, particularly in data structuring, automation workflows, and AI solution integration.
  • Collaborate with operational teams, who will be among the main users of the platform, to ensure alignment between field needs and developments.
  • Participate in complex deployments for major international clients, particularly in the media, broadcast, sports leagues, operators, or technology provider sectors.

You will also be involved in advanced detection topics: crawlers, scrapers, monitoring agents, content recognition, computer vision, traffic analysis, dashboards, piracy exposure indicators, and measurement of mitigation effectiveness.

The work environment values autonomy, initiative, and the ability to drive projects forward concretely. The organization remains small, with close collaboration between product, engineering, operations, pre-sales, and sales teams. The position is primarily office-based, with a hybrid arrangement allowing for one to two days of remote work depending on team needs.

The recruitment process includes several stages after an initial qualification exchange: an interview with the product manager, a discussion with technical or operational stakeholders, and a final validation with a member of management.

Profile

You have confirmed experience in product management, ideally gained on B2B software products, SaaS, data platforms, cybersecurity solutions, broadcast, streaming, telecom, or internet infrastructure. Overall experience of 5 to 10 years is relevant for this position, with at least 2 to 3 years in product management responsibilities covering a significant part of the product lifecycle.

You don't necessarily need to come directly from the anti-piracy or broadcast sector, but you must be able to quickly understand complex technical environments. Knowledge of digital content distribution mechanisms, CDNs, streaming, IPTV, DRM, or video streams will be a significant asset.

The position requires a strong data sensitivity. You know how to reason from data, structure analyses, define relevant indicators, and transform complex problems into clear product decisions. A degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, physics, data science, or any other highly analytical curriculum will be appreciated, without being a strict prerequisite if experience demonstrates this ability.

Expected skills include:

  • A good understanding of network concepts: IP addresses, DNS, VPN, routing, CDNs, and internet infrastructure.
  • Experience with complex technical products, ideally related to data, automation, AI, cybersecurity, or large-scale monitoring.
  • Ability to work with engineering, security, legal, operations, sales, and management teams.
  • Proficiency in managing discovery, scoping, prioritization, delivery, and continuous improvement topics.
  • Excellent English level, essential for working with international teams and producing all written communications.

Concrete experience in deploying AI agents, machine learning models, automation tools, or AI solutions in production will be highly valued. The company is looking for someone who has moved beyond the prototype or demonstration stage and understands the constraints of a complex enterprise environment.

You are recognized for your autonomy, pragmatism, and ability to structure an existing product without losing sight of user needs. You enjoy working in demanding technical environments but remain focused on impact, adoption, and business value. A positive, curious, proactive personality capable of advancing in an international context will be particularly suited to this role.
