We are looking for a full-time
Product Manager Digital Solutions (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the strategic further development of our software products in the area of plant control
- Evaluation of new product ideas and identification of market requirements regarding technical feasibility, customer added value, and economic success prospects
- Close collaboration with customers, sales, and service to identify practical requirements
- Conducting market, competitor, and technology research with a focus on applications in industrial automation technology for intralogistics
- Development of brand positioning and marketing strategy
- Creation of product visions, roadmaps, and requirement specifications
- Management of interdisciplinary teams along the product lifecycle
- Validation of solutions with pilot customers (e.g., through prototyping, MVP tests)
- Marketing of product solutions in cooperation with sales and international partners
- Support with product launches and training of internal stakeholders
- Reporting to the Head of Customer Relations
Your Profile
- Completed degree in a technical field (e.g., electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, industrial engineering) or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in product management of complex B2B software solutions, ideally in the field of plant control, mechanical engineering, or industrial automation
- Sound understanding of software development (e.g., software architecture, agile methods, release cycles)
- Strong application understanding: You think from the customer's perspective, recognize practical problems, and develop user-centric solutions
- Experience in evaluating business cases, MVPs, and proofs of concept
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
Salary
EUR 55000 - 75000 per year
Requirements
- Abgeschlossenes Studium in einem technischen Fachgebiet (z. B. Elektrotechnik, Informatik, Mechatronik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Produktmanagement von erklärungsbedürftigen B2B-Softwarelösungen, idealerweise im Bereich Anlagensteuerung, Maschinenbau oder industrieller Automatisierung
- Fundiertes Verständnis von Softwareentwicklung (z. B. Softwarearchitektur, agile Methoden, Releasezyklen)
- Ausgeprägtes Anwendungsverständnis: Sie denken aus Sicht des Kunden, erkennen Praxisprobleme und entwickeln nutzerzentrierte Lösungen
- Erfahrung in der Evaluierung von Business Cases, MVPs und Proofs of Concept
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
Responsibilities
- Verantwortung für die strategische Weiterentwicklung unserer Softwareprodukte im Bereich der Anlagensteuerung
- Bewertung neuer Produktideen und Erfassung der Marktanforderungen hinsichtlich technischer Machbarkeit, Kundenmehrwert und wirtschaftlicher Erfolgsaussichten
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Kunden, Vertrieb und Service zur Identifikation von Anforderungen aus der Praxis
- Durchführung von Markt-, Wettbewerbs- und Technologierecherchen mit Fokus auf Anwendungen in der Automatisierungstechnik der Intralogistik
- Entwicklung der Markenpositionierung und der Vermarktungsstrategie
- Erstellung von Produktvisionen, Roadmaps und Anforderungsspezifikationen
- Steuerung interdisziplinärer Teams entlang des Produktlebenszyklus
- Validierung von Lösungen mit Pilotkunden (z. B. durch Prototyping, MVP-Tests)
- Vermarktung der Produktlösungen in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Vertrieb und den internationalen Partnern
- Unterstützung bei Produkteinführungen und Schulung interner Stakeholder
- Berichten an Leiter Customer Relations
