We currently have an opportunity for a Product Manager to join our Information Technology team! The Product Manager will own SCU’s core banking platform (DNA) end to end, overseeing the full product lifecycle from ideation through implementation, optimization, and enhancement. Acting as the internal champion for the core, this role partners across the organization to ensure the platform effectively supports products, services, integrations, operations, and the member experience.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle and strategic roadmap for the core banking (DNA) platform, aligning operational needs with long‑term business goals.
  • Identify, prioritize, and deliver core platform enhancements, optimizations, and innovations informed by data, research, and market trends.
  • Monitor and report on core platform health, performance, stability, and value delivery.
  • Lead platform‑level planning and execution, managing dependencies, risks, and escalations across initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business units to enable adoption, readiness, and effective use of core‑enabled products and services.
  • Engage and manage relationships with core banking vendors and strategic partners, including budget oversight.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment and dynamic prioritization of core banking initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to system administrators and support teams, and respond to platform‑related inquiries and issues.
  • Lead cross‑functional change management activities for releases, upgrades, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Act as an internal champion for the core platform, promoting continuous improvement, innovation, and a member‑focused perspective.

Qualifications

  • Post‑secondary education in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience supporting or managing enterprise technology platforms.
  • Experience with a core banking platform, with DNA experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Platform and product lifecycle ownership and strategic planning and initiative prioritization is considered an asset.
  • Strong technical aptitude in secure, enterprise environments.
  • Change management and delivery execution.
  • Analytical, data‑informed decision making.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Sound judgment balancing usability, security, and operations.
  • Continuous improvement and innovation mindset.
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration.
