As part of the Minerals & Solutions Team you will report to the Category Lead Minerals & Solutions. In this interface position between sales and production you will enjoy intense contacts to diverse teams such as our international sales team, our production plants, quality management, strategic marketing, technical support and communications. You will become part of a successful, medium-sized and family-owned company and will be working out of our production plant in Ladenburg, Germany.

Responsibilities

• Product management of specialty products (citric acid esters and coated acids) • Interface between sales, production, and application development, as well as key stakeholders in cross-functional projects • Provision of relevant planning information to production teams and management of inventories • Monitoring and analysis of sales, including reporting • Market and competitive analysis in close cooperation with Strategic Marketing • Support of the international sales team with product-specific information and pricing

Qualifications

• MSc, PhD, or equivalent degree in Natural Sciences; additional specialization in business is an advantage. • At least 3 years of professional experience in product management of specialty products in the chemical or ingredients industry • Flair for organisation, co-ordination and business management • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex interdisciplinary tasks • Deep curiosity, ownership mentality and team spirit • Good command of MS Office, especially Excel • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
