JOB SUMMARY
Join Highmark Health as a Product Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our clinically-focused health products. In this exciting position, you will craft compelling value propositions and drive the execution of a dynamic portfolio aimed at enhancing the health of our members. Your expertise will be crucial in gaining stakeholder buy-in and ensuring successful product deployment. This role encompasses support for existing products related to chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and CHF/COPD, alongside onboarding new innovative solutions. A background in health insurance and product management is highly desirable.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a clear product vision and strategy aligned with departmental and company goals to maximize value for our members.
- Utilize both qualitative insights and metrics to proactively identify areas for product enhancements.
- Act as the product representative in governance meetings, ensuring product priorities and updates are communicated effectively.
- Own the product portfolio, consistently refreshing and prioritizing the product backlog based on feedback and strategic goals.
- Drive cross-product collaboration, sharing insights and learnings to enhance overall product offerings.
- Participate in sprint planning and milestone reviews with the delivery team to monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in science, technology, mathematics, or a related field OR relevant experience and/or education in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE
Required
- Minimum of 3 years of product management experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with the software lifecycle.
- A minimum of 1 year of advanced domain experience.
Preferred
- 1 year of experience with Agile processes.

SKILLS
- Strong business acumen, effective communication, and conflict management skills.

Position Type: Office-based. You may occasionally travel between work sites. Regularly engage in training and teaching others.
Physical Work Site Required: Yes. Capability to lift up to 10 pounds is constantly required; occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be necessary.
Pay Range
Minimum: $86,400.00 Maximum: $138,600.00
Your base pay is influenced by various factors, including experience, qualifications, and job contributions.
