Welcome to JCDecaux!
At JCDecaux, we shape the future of outdoor advertising.
We are committed to being a responsible and sustainable media that serves the community, in cities and in transport and commercial hubs.
Our story began in 1964 with the creation of a new business model: offering useful and sustainable products and services (bus shelters, information street furniture, kiosks, self-maintained public restrooms, self-service bikes...), financed by advertising, for the benefit of cities, their residents, and visitors, and later, from the 2000s onwards, for airports and transport companies.
Constant innovation, striving for excellence in all our trades, and acting responsibly... these are the values that drive us daily.
Join us in this adventure that is redefining urban communication and improving citizen experiences worldwide.
Within the DataCorp department, responsible for data operations and monetization across the group, we are seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of the group's data portal, a strategic area of investment for our current and future growth.
At the heart of the group's transformation, the DataCorp department is a growth partner for markets, providing them with data-driven solutions, products, and services.
Our Data Portal is the single data platform for the JCDecaux group, hosting all DataCorp solutions and group data sources, as well as dashboards for over 80 group subsidiaries. It is a cornerstone of our product offering, developed in partnership with the Data Alliance, comprising Pernod Ricard, Accor, and JCDecaux.
You will be responsible for the product management of the Data Portal solution, working closely with the Product Owner, market business partners, the Data Alliance, and the data scientists and data engineers developing the solution.
Your Mission Details
- Product Vision: Define, champion, and communicate the strategy and roadmap for the Data Portal across the entire group (over 80 subsidiaries).
- Value Generation: Identify complex global market challenges and translate them into high-impact business product opportunities.
- Innovation Leadership: Drive the integration of new technological components into the portal, with a specific focus on deploying Gen BI and RAG use cases.
- Data Sourcing: Frame the needs for new data sources or solutions, and collaborate with the Partnership Manager for procurement from strategic partners (e.g., Data Alliance).
- Evangelization: Serve as the primary spokesperson for the solution. You will foster a community of key international users and lead the necessary actions to maximize global portal adoption.
Your Daily Work
- Research & Prioritization: Conduct regular discussions with subsidiaries to inform your thinking and collaborate with the Data Alliance to objectively arbitrate the roadmap.
- Strategy / Execution Duo: Synchronize with the Product Owner to ensure a smooth transition between the ideation phase (your scope) and the roadmap delivery by the team.
- Tech Collaboration: Continuously work with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to validate technical feasibility and define the most pragmatic solution to develop.
- Communication: Share roadmap progress, lead product presentations, and actively engage stakeholders to promote the DataCorp approach.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience & Fundamentals:
- Master's degree (Bac +5).
- Significant experience of 4 to 8 years in Product Management, ideally with data products, B2B platforms, or high-volume internal portals.
- Bilingual English is essential & Multicultural adaptability: as the Data Portal is deployed across all group subsidiaries worldwide, you are perfectly comfortable collaborating daily in a complex international environment.
Product, Data & AI Skills:
- Data & Artificial Intelligence Culture: You have a deep understanding of business challenges related to data (APIs, governance, architecture). You will be responsible for driving the integration of cutting-edge technologies, with direct responsibility for Gen BI (Generative Business Intelligence) and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) topics related to the portal.
- Impact Culture & Pragmatism (Outcome > Output): You possess a true Product Mindset. Your goal is not to stack features (Output), but to maximize business impact and user value (Outcome). You favor "start small" to deliver quickly (MVP), iterate continuously, and your appetite for innovation pushes you to experiment and provide solutions even before users articulate the need.
- Product Strategy & Prioritization: Excellent ability to build, defend, and manage a product roadmap. You master prioritization frameworks (RICE, MoSCoW, Kano...) to maximize delivered value.
- Product Discovery & User Research: You have advanced skills in understanding user experience (interviews, user testing, co-creation workshops) to improve the solution with the support of cross-functional teams.
- Product Analytics: You know how to define and track adoption and performance KPIs to measure the success of the Data Portal and drive your decisions in a data-driven manner.
- Agile Methodology: You know how to interface perfectly with a Product Owner to ensure a smooth bridge between strategy (Discovery) and execution (Delivery).
Soft Skills:
- Stakeholder Management: Extremely organized and diplomatic, you know how to align demanding and diverse stakeholders (business, tech, external partners, local subsidiaries) around a common vision.
- Influence Leadership: You are pedagogical, with strong convictions, capable of engaging technical teams without hierarchical links and promoting product adoption internally.
- Autonomy & Problem Solving: You are proactive and structured to successfully complete your roadmap from A to Z.
- Honest, passionate about digital, and possessing excellent teamwork skills.
