About

Mollie was founded in 2004 in Amsterdam with a simple but bold mission: to make payments effortless for everyone. Today, over 250,000 businesses trust us as their payment partner – from fast‑growing startups to leading European brands.

We believe that traditional banking and financial services have been working against customers for too long – full of friction, confusion, and unnecessary complexity. Mollie exists to change that. We're building the financial products that businesses deserve: intuitive, powerful, and beautifully simple.

Our product‑first culture means that everything we build starts with our customers. We move fast, work cross‑functionally, and set a high bar for design, usability, and reliability.

As we expand into serving more complex, mid‑ and up‑market customers, we're growing our platform to support teams, advanced security, and fine‑grained access control. That's where you come in.

Your opportunity

As Product Manager for Identity & Access Management, in the Merchant Experience Domain, you'll own and evolve Mollie's identity and access management (IAM) platform – the foundation for how users, roles, and permissions work across all Mollie products.

You'll build the systems that allow companies to operate safely and efficiently within Mollie – from managing user access to sensitive data, to enabling admins with full oversight and control.

You will design and deliver a flexible, secure, and delightful multi‑user management experience that scales with our customers' needs – from small businesses to complex team‑based organizations.

You'll partner closely with engineering, design, compliance, and other product teams to define how authentication, authorization, and entitlements work at Mollie. You'll balance usability and security, ensuring both peace of mind and a seamless experience.

What you'll do

  • Needless to say: Talk to customers. And be able to quickly steer and ship products based on insights.
  • Lead an entrepreneurial cross‑functional team with a strong focus in Engineering, bringing structure and planning. We don't dictate any "framework", we focus on output.
  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for Identity & Access Management, including roles, permissions, authentication, and entitlements.
  • Build a modern IAM foundation that supports both current and future Mollie products.
  • Drive development of multi‑user capabilities – empowering admins to manage teams, access, and permissions effortlessly.
  • Partner with engineers and designers to ship intuitive, high‑quality user experiences that balance control with simplicity.
  • Prototype and validate user experiences to ensure solutions truly meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with compliance, risk, and data privacy teams to ensure regulatory alignment and security best practices.
  • Partner with other product teams to ensure a consistent and secure identity model across Mollie's ecosystem.

What you'll bring

First we don't believe that having x years of experience here or there is a benchmark for your potential performance. Your application is your pitch. Having said that, there are few dimensions we consider relevant in this context:

  • Experience as a Product Manager working on products with multiple users, roles, and permissions.
  • A strong product sense and the ability to translate complex requirements into simple, intuitive experiences.
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams – engineering, design, operations, compliance, and support.
  • Ability to prototype user experiences to explore and communicate product ideas effectively.
  • Understanding of authentication, authorization, and access control concepts. (Experience with OAuth or SSO is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – comfortable driving clarity across teams.
  • A passion for creating products that are as secure as they are easy to use.

Please apply with your CV in English.
