Product Manager (m/f/d) for Construction Trade Solutions (HW/SW)

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of products in the measurement and layout solutions space for the construction trades, focusing on developing intuitive digital solutions
• Understand and profile customer personas, pain points, use cases, and needs, turning them into product ideas and features
• Analyze product positioning and perform competitive benchmarking
• Contribute to business plans
• Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Sales, Support, and Marketing teams
• Operate independently with limited guidance and take ownership of projects
• Assess and test hardware and software with the customer in mind
• Demo and train products confidently for customers and sales, providing product training and second-line support for the worldwide sales and support network
• Support sales with arguments, demo stories, and objection handling
• Engage in direct customer interaction through support cases, demos, pilots, and feedback loops

Qualifications

• Proven experience of at least 5 years in product management, ideally in a similar environment
• University degree in engineering construction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, with an affinity for building construction and finishing trades
• Possess knowledge of construction trade-specific measurement tools (HW/SW) and processes
• Apply an entrepreneurial mindset, being customer-oriented, pragmatic, and solution-driven
• Work in a structured and pragmatic way, driving topics end-to-end
• Ability to communicate effectively to different audiences
• Engage directly with customers for support and analysis of workflows
• Turn market requirements into product MVPs and derive technical specifications
• Demonstrate affinity for software, software development, and process tools
• Fluent German and business-proficient English
