Current Opportunity

Job Title: Product Manager (m/f/d) Luran S EMEA Location: Frankfurt, Cologne or Ludwigshafen

Role Purpose

You will drive the commercial success of the Luran S product line across EMEA, with full responsibility for delivering EBITDA targets through active price management and shaping the long-term product strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • P&L responsibility: deliver on volume, revenue and cost targets
  • Define and execute the product line strategy for EMEA
  • Lead pricing strategy, set guidelines and support sales execution
  • Manage demand forecasting and align production planning with Supply Chain
  • Monitor sales performance vs. forecast and drive corrective actions
  • Optimize product portfolio, asset utilization and lifecycle management
  • Drive cost optimization and efficiency improvements (e.g. raw materials, sourcing)
  • Ensure product quality, safety and regulatory compliance in collaboration with experts
  • Analyze market trends, competitors and supply/demand dynamics
  • Identify growth opportunities and lead business development initiatives

Your Profile

  • Degree in Business Administration or Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Polymer Science
  • 5+ years in the chemical industry, ideally in a market-facing role
  • Experience in plastics industry and plastics processing beneficial
  • Fluent English is mandatory, German is a plus
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking
  • Pricing and commercial management capabilities
  • Project management skills
  • Advanced Powerpoint & Excel knowledge, SAP beneficial
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Team-oriented with a drive for results
