About the role
Job Duties/ Functional Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
1. Business Strategy & Execution
· Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and profitability of the MPAC business.
· Identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and business opportunities to inform decision-making.
· Lead the execution of sales and marketing initiatives aligned with the company’s commercial goals.
2. Sales & Revenue Management
· Oversee the achievement of sales targets across all customer segments and channels (retail, distribution, corporate).
· Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve revenue performance.
· Drive stock planning, inventory optimization, and pricing strategy in line with market demand.
3. Customer & Channel Relationship Management
· Build and manage strong relationships with key customers, OEM partners and distributors.
· Ensure excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction through proactive engagement.
· Resolve escalated customer issues and provide high-level support to the sales team.
4. Operational & Financial Oversight
· Ensure effective day-to-day operations of the MPAC subsidiary, including order fulfillment, stock movement, and reporting.
· Monitor financial performance: gross margin, cost control, and profitability of the business line.
· Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, performance, market intelligence, and forecasts.
5. Team Leadership & Development
· Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for the MPAC sales and support team.
· Set clear performance expectations, conduct periodic reviews, and promote accountability and excellence.
· Collaborate with HR to ensure staffing, training, and career development align with business needs.
6. Reporting & Performance Review
· Submit timely performance reports, dashboards, and business reviews to management.
· Present business updates, key wins, gaps, and next-step strategies in alignment with company goals.
· Track and report on product lifecycle performance, including slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
7. Compliance & Risk Management
· Ensure adherence to internal policies, pricing controls, and commercial governance standards.
· Manage credit risk exposure by working with Finance on customer vetting and receivables tracking.
· Ensure full compliance with OEM agreements, service-level obligations, and brand guidelines.
Accountability & Reporting Deliverables.
o Report Daily, Weekly & Monthly Subsidiary Sales Activities Report Detailing Products Sales Reports, Calls Plans, Prospects Listing, Call Memos, Converted Prospects Listing, Portfolio Clientele Listing, Monthly Performance Achievement & Variances Analysis.
o Generate Monthly Reports on the Subsidiary Products Performances to support Supplies Chain Management Decisions.
o Generate Monthly Reports on Products Analysis, Competitors & Market Analysis to give support to GM in giving strategic directions.
o Monitor and Report Subsidiary Monthly Performance in MPR Sessions for SWOT Analysis and Strategic Directions of GM.
