In OBI Category Management, we are looking for highly motivated colleagues (m/f/d) who not only take on broad responsibility but also actively want to shape the future of retail. We have ambitious growth plans for the coming years and are consistently driving digital transformation.

As a commercial hub, Category Management is crucial for strengthening our core business while also breaking new ground. Your Tasks

• Product Responsibility: Steering OBI private labels across all stationary and digital channels as well as in the international OBI corporate countries
• Process Support: Holistic support of assortment development from product requirements through price negotiations to packaging
• Product Availability: Ensuring delivery capability while strictly adhering to calculations and timelines
• Relationship Management: Independent management of supplier relationships and development of new cooperations in close coordination with the sourcing offices in Asia
• Contract Negotiations: Conducting negotiations with worldwide agencies to achieve optimal conditions
• Assortment Design: Analysis of market needs, trends, and competitor prices to optimize the department mix within the Category Team
• Offer Optimization: Ensuring the best offer for our customers through data-based price and assortment analyses

Your Profile

• Customer Centricity: Consistent alignment of all product decisions with customer needs
• Entrepreneurial Thinking: Active assumption of responsibility and balancing trade-offs between revenue, margin, inventory, and customer satisfaction
• Omnichannel Understanding: Deep conviction in the interplay of stationary and digital customer journeys
• Market Knowledge: Extensive understanding of national and international procurement markets and efficient logistics routes
• Data Affinity: Using data as a basis for well-founded product decisions and for identifying reliable trends
• Team Spirit: Strong hands-on mentality and team spirit fitting our "Alles Machbar" culture
• Professional Experience: Several years of practical experience in private label import or private label product development
• Qualifications: A successfully completed degree, fluent English skills, confident use of Google Workspace, and a high degree of personal responsibility complete your profile
