TotalDataLimited
About the role
Job Summary Own the local product roadmap and commercial performance for PowerMaster powerbanks. You will gather market insights, drive SKU rationalization, manage launches, and close the feedback loop between field sales, distributors, and HQ.
Key Responsibilities • Market & Customer Insight: Conduct local market research, competitor benchmarking, and user feedback collection (retail, online, field) to define demand and sizing. • SKU Management: Optimize SKU portfolio (capacity, price tiers, warranty), recommend phase-outs, and develop localized SKUs to match Nigerian usage scenarios. • Go-to-Market & Launches: Plan and execute launches in coordination with sales, marketing, and supply chain — including allocation, pricing, POS, training, and promotions. • Field Feedback Loop: Collect and analyze sales and after-sales feedback (sell-through, returns, failures, counterfeit reports) and drive product or policy changes with HQ. • Channel Enablement: Prepare sell-in kits, training materials, demo guides, and key objection-handling resources for distributors, field offices, and retail staff. • Commercial Performance: Track sell-in, sell-through, margin, and inventory; recommend price promotions, bundles, and trade-in/clearance actions. • Quality & Compliance: Monitor warranty trends and coordinate with service centers on defects and recalls; ensure regulatory compliance for batteries. • Data & Reporting: Maintain SKU dashboards and provide weekly/monthly insights and recommendations.
Requirements
Requirements • Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. • 3–5 years of product/brand/merchandise experience in consumer electronics, power/energy, batteries, or mobile accessories in Nigeria/West Africa. • Strong commercial acumen: SKU planning, pricing, margin focus, and promotion design. • Technical understanding of powerbank specifications, battery safety, and certifications. • Practical field experience with distributors, retailers, and informal trade channels. • Data literate (Excel, basic BI) with good presentation and stakeholder management skills. • Fluent in English; Hausa or French is a plus. • Willingness to travel for field visits.
