Position Overview
Product Manager – Pricing & Promotions (Non‑Vehicle Commerce) – This role is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive Product Manager who will spearhead the development and execution of innovative pricing and promotions strategies for our non‑vehicle commerce offerings on Ford.com. You will be at the forefront of driving profitability and enhancing customer engagement across products such as accessories, parts, EV chargers, and branded merchandise. We are looking for someone with a strong retail planning background, in‑depth knowledge of regional pricing dynamics, and the ability to influence and educate cross‑functional partners, especially within finance, to ensure the success of our strategies.
Remote candidates who can work during Eastern Hours are welcomed, although preference is given to those who can relocate to our Dearborn, MI office.
What You’ll Do
- Strategy Development: Craft and refine pricing and promotions strategies for all non‑vehicle commerce products sold on Ford.com, ensuring alignment with market trends and business goals.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to discover pricing opportunities, regional variations, and assess the effectiveness of promotional campaigns.
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Collaborate with finance and analytics teams to create strong pricing models, forecast sales and profit implications, and track KPIs related to pricing and sell‑through.
- Regional Pricing Expertise: Utilize insights into regional retail dynamics to tailor pricing and promotions that optimize sales and profitability across various markets.
- Promotions Management: Design, implement, and review promotional campaigns, including discounts and loyalty programs, ensuring strategic timing and targeting to achieve sales goals.
- Stakeholder Influence: Communicate effectively to advocate for pricing and promotions strategies across senior leadership and cross‑functional teams, securing buy‑in and building consensus.
- Financial Partnership & Education: Serve as a subject matter expert, educating finance partners on best practices in pricing and promotions, showcasing the financial impacts of strategies while fostering collaboration.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Regularly assess the effectiveness of pricing and promotional strategies, pinpoint opportunities for improvement, and implement data‑driven enhancements.
- Product Lifecycle Integration: Collaborate with product development and merchandising teams to align pricing and promotion strategies throughout each product’s lifecycle.
- Tool & Process Enhancement: Identify enhancements for pricing tools, processes, and data infrastructure to boost efficiency and impact.
You’ll Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in retail planning, merchandising, or a related role focusing on pricing and promotions, including:
- Proven experience with regional pricing strategies and optimizing product sell‑through in e‑commerce or retail settings.
- 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in an e‑commerce environment.
- 3+ years of demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with cross‑functional teams, particularly in finance, product, marketing, and sales, along with strong analytical capabilities.

- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related advanced degree.
- Experience in the automotive industry or with durable goods accessories/parts.
- Familiarity with pricing optimization software or advanced analytics tools.

Salary & Grade
- Grade 7 or 8
- Salary range: $97,140 – $190,500 (exact salary aligned with skills, experience, scope of the job, and competitive market value)
