Key Responsibilities
- Own the Production Finishing Services relaunch and growth roadmap, translating strategic objectives into executable product, commercial, and operational initiatives.
- Lead sales pipeline governance in WhiteCup CRM, including data hygiene, run-rate logic, deal timing definitions, and standardized reporting.
- Build and maintain multi-period demand and revenue forecasts aligned to historical run-rates and production capacity.
- Engage directly with existing Production Services customers to document current programs, validate forecasts, and identify expansion opportunities.
- Consolidate and analyze historic pipeline data to enable re-engagement strategies and future growth planning.
- Lead customer and market segmentation efforts using NAICS/SIC mapping to identify high-probability prospects and vertical opportunities.
- Develop and standardize Production Services supply and contract frameworks, including service scope and storage terms.
- Partner with Marketing to design and execute targeted, application-specific demand generation campaigns.
- Own capacity analysis by application and site, aligning commercial demand with operational throughput and investment planning.
- Evaluate and build business cases for new or adjacent Production Services offerings, technologies, and markets.
- Establish executive dashboards and KPIs that link pipeline health, forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, and financial performance.
12–18 Month Outcomes
- 100% CRM pipeline hygiene with documented governance standards and monthly audit cadence.
- Multi-period forecasting accuracy within ±10% at the aggregate level after two quarters.
- All existing PFS customers engaged with documented growth and forecast plans.
- Standardized contract templates implemented across the majority of active customers.
- Capacity model actively used in S&OP and capital planning decisions.
- At least one new or adjacent Production Services offering launched.
- Certification milestones supported and tracked (AS9100, ISO 13485 as applicable).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred; or 10 years of direct industry experience.
- Prior experience with surface finishing processes and applications including: (e.g., vibratory and mass finishing, electro-polishing, painting and powder coating, air blasting, 3D printing, anodizing, plating, deburring).
- Excellent internal, cross-functional, and customer facing verbal and written communication skills.
- Negotiation experience (pricing, terms, etc.) with highly specified end-users in industries such as aerospace, defense, and medical devices.
- Presentation experience in front of internal and external stakeholders and investors.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Prior experience managing a pipeline via CRM and reporting monthly performance results and forecasts.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region up to 40% of the time (key locations include: Portland, OR; Dallas, TX; Grand Rapids, MI; Dayton, OH; Hartford, CT).
