About the role

Overview

We’re building an AI-powered platform that helps consulting firms respond to RFPs faster by automating proposal workflows like compliance mapping, draft generation, and review.

The product is already live and being used. However, we’re seeing gaps in:

  • User adoption
  • Time savings realization
  • Trust in AI-generated outputs

We’re looking for a Product Manager with strong growth + adoption experience to help us:

  • Improve the core product experience
  • Build a Product-Led Growth (PLG) engine
  • Drive real adoption and usage within teams

What You’ll Be Working On

1. Core Product Improvements

  • Improve AI-generated proposal content (quality, tone, completeness)
  • Ensure better coverage of RFP requirements (reduce missing sections)
  • Reduce manual effort required after AI generation
  • Improve workflows for proposal teams (writers → reviewers → submission)

2. Product-Led Growth (PLG)

You will help us build a strong self-serve growth motion:

  • Improve onboarding flows (time to first value)
  • Design activation journeys (first proposal → usable output)
  • Build retention loops (templates, saved knowledge, reuse)
  • Drive expansion (team invites, multi-user adoption)
  • Identify opportunities for virality or sharing loops

3. Adoption & Usage (Critical Focus)

This is a key priority for us.

Right now, users:

  • Spend significant time editing AI outputs
  • Struggle with trusting the content
  • Sometimes fall back to manual workflows

You will help:

  • Identify where adoption is breaking (user journey gaps)
  • Improve confidence in AI outputs
  • Reduce friction between:
    • AI output → proposal-ready content
  • Design nudges, workflows, or features to:
    • Increase repeat usage
    • Encourage team-wide adoption
    • Ensure the product becomes part of the default workflow, not an optional tool

Key Responsibilities

  • Talk to users and identify product, growth, and adoption bottlenecks
  • Analyze user behavior (drop-offs, low usage, churn points)
  • Improve onboarding, activation, and adoption flows
  • Define high-impact product improvements
  • Work closely with engineering to refine AI outputs and workflows
  • Run experiments (A/B tests, usage nudges, feature improvements)
  • Prioritize roadmap based on impact on adoption + growth

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

  • Experience as a Product Manager or Growth PM in SaaS
  • Strong understanding of:
    • PLG funnels (acquisition → activation → retention)
    • User adoption and behavior
  • Experience improving:
    • Onboarding
    • Activation
    • Product adoption within teams
  • Ability to break down messy problems into clear actions

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI / LLM-based products
  • Experience in B2B SaaS (especially workflow-heavy tools)
  • Familiarity with tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, PostHog
  • Experience improving content quality or structured outputs

What Success Looks Like

  • Users reach value faster (first usable proposal generated quickly)
  • Significant reduction in:
    • Manual edits required
    • Drop-offs during onboarding
  • Increase in:
    • Activation rate
    • Weekly active users
    • Proposals generated per user
    • Team-level adoption
  • Product becomes a core part of the proposal workflow
