Product Manager (Technical) - API Services

As a Senior Product Manager at Zinnia, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Product Life Cycle and contributing significantly to the research & development activities related to designing and developing products. Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and contributing to the execution of product lifecycle processes for Insurtech products/platforms - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product requirements are met, evaluating product performance, and transitioning products from development to commercialization - Leading technical discussions with Engineering teams and effectively managing technical/business requirements - Assisting in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new releases, feature enhancements, and maintenance releases - Mentoring and driving a team of Product Managers, acting as a technical consultant to the product organization, and leading research and prototyping of innovative technologies and products - Ensuring the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering aligns with and supports the product/business roadmap - Acting as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements - Leading major releases and ensuring feature enhancements meet customer requests - Taking responsibility for product delivery by managing schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development

To qualify for this role, you should have:

- 8+ years of experience in Product Management, including analyzing software/product design, development, and deployment - Bachelors/Master's or equivalent Degree in technology or related field - Strong background working as a Technical Product Manager or Business Analyst/Product Analyst in an enterprise environment - Hands-on understanding of API Integration, SQL, Data Analysis, etc. - Strong understanding of SDLC, technology system interfaces, data integration, networks, and operating systems - Experience coaching and mentoring a team of Product Managers or Product Owners - Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills - Ability to lead individual assignments with strong expertise - Expert level experience in delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the use of relevant tools - Ability to influence, lead, and work as part of a cross-functional global team setup - Experience in the Life & Annuity Industry is preferred but not mandatory
