Product Manager (TP-Link) - Enterprise - ICT Distribution

Introduction

Are you an exceptional Product Manager with a deep understanding of the networking landscape? A leading ICT distributor is looking for a strategic and proactive individual to join our Enterprise team in Midrand.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities • Sales Strategy & Support: Drive internal sales and product processes to achieve targets while providing pre-sales and post-sales support to sales teams. • Pricing & Positioning: Ensure product pricing and positioning remain relevant, updated, and competitive. • Inventory Management: Strategically manage active and aging stock, and assist in resolving stock issues during weekly meetings. • Stakeholder Alignment: Act as a bridge between all relevant parties, assisting with accurate quotations, product codes, and costings. • Operational Excellence: Process sales and purchase orders via ERP systems for local and international suppliers. • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on technology roadmaps, retail developments, and consumer market trends. • Training & Development: Facilitate and organize product training for various internal branches.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements • Experience: At least 5 years in a Product Management environment. • Industry Knowledge: Minimum of 3 years in a Distribution environment. IT Distribution and IT Sales experience is highly advantageous. • Technical Understanding: Solid networking knowledge and an understanding of technology roadmaps. • Education: Matric with Mathematics is essential. A tertiary qualification in Sales or Marketing is preferred. • Tools: Above-average Excel skills for reporting, stock management, and data analysis. • Logistics: Must understand the logistics/warehouse process and the specific needs of various market segments (sub-distributors, resellers, and end-users). • License: A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are required.
