In this role you will drive the full product lifecycle for Trading and Origination products within the New Product Implementation team. You will shape new product design, ensure accurate deal representation, and support end-to-end implementation across Alpiq’s value chains. You’ll collaborate with Front Office, Risk, and NPC stakeholders to assess potential, costs, and risks, and you’ll oversee approval, testing, and handover to business lines. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced energy environment that rewards structured problem-solving and proactive cross-functional coordination. You will work to refine the product catalogue and enable efficient, scalable product delivery.

• Manage the full product lifecycle for Trading and Origination products including design, approval and phase-out
• Collaborate with Front Office and Risk on new product ideas, assess potential, costs, and risks
• Ensure efficient product approval, implementation, testing and handover to business lines

Responsibilities

• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• At least 3 years of experience in energy industry within product management, Sales & Origination, Trading, or Risk
• Knowledge of energy structured products and understanding of standard energy products
• Excellent stakeholder management and self-starting personality
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach
• Fluent in English; German, French, or Italian are an advantage
