Roles and Responsibilities
- The Regional Product Manager for WHS will be responsible for development of product definition, positioning, pricing and product lifecycle management to include market sensing, leading the product management function in new product development teams, pricing, customer communications, support, and revenue forecasts
- Responsible for developing a thorough knowledge of target customer segments, markets and the competition. Defining features and functions of our products to internal and external customers including showcasing design philosophy, product characteristics, advantages, and potential threats from the competition or market conditions
- Act as a bridge between segment leadership, Sales, channel translating business and technical requirements
- Be able to research and be a resource for information such as market changes, products offered by the competition, benefits of products and their superior value to consumers
- Provide product training to sales and channel teams for existing and new products and improve their professional ability
- Analyze market intelligence regional reports to identify opportunities, trends and potential threats with the purpose of maximizing value from all WHS products
- Understand the product final application use at customer locations and support and represent customer requirements during throughout the process
- Support the development of marketing strategies and the tactical solutions by smartly applying segmentation, targeting, and positioning implementing marketing plans through internal training, customer education collaboration, key account engagement activity
- Develop a regional product strategy WHS market with a strategic thinking. Creating and expanding market and opportunities with an open mind
- Lead, design regional commercial launch process to define clear market position, to generate product matrix, to determine specifications, to set up appropriate pricing scheme, and to develop time‑integrated plans for NPI
- Develop and maintain relationships with regional KOL’s for Advocacy/Reference Sites/Speaking/Teaching Events
- Communicates with a cross‑functional team with involvement from sales, service applications and OTR team to establish and execute the plan for the region
- Manage participation in key marketing events and represent WHS in major regional ultrasound and healthcare imaging events in the region as speaker and presenters
- Conduct sales presentations, product positioning pitches and product configurations of the WHS portfolio been proposed to customers
- Conduct product trainings for sales and channel persons in regions for both direct, and indirect channel partners
- Gather market intelligence and competitor information about competing ultrasound products, understand the competing features, trends and utilize this knowledge in contributing towards value‑argumentation and positioning statements for WHS Ultrasound systems
- Provide clinical and technology updates regularly to regional KOL customers and focus on developing relationship with Key Luminaries and Opinion Leaders in the region
- Work with segment leadership to create Marketing Collateral / Sales Tools (case studies, white papers, images)
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- 7+ years in medical device industry (preferably Ultrasound)
- Experience in sales, commercial and applications
