Your Role

As a Product Manager at ALSO, you will be responsible for the growth of our Solutions business with our partner CISCO.

The Product Manager is responsible for the turnover, margin, and stock of their product scope. To stimulate sales, they provide support and work closely with our sales teams and their reseller clients.

As a Product Manager, you are the point of contact for all the suppliers you represent, and you define the commercial strategy to be implemented with them. You identify commercial needs from both the supplier and client side, and you ensure that all processes are in place to achieve sales, margin, and stock objectives. You define and adapt the pricing strategy for your products.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the means to achieve the quarterly objectives set for turnover, margin, and stock level.
  • Implement a marketing plan in line with your objectives.
  • Define the common strategy to be implemented with your suppliers to develop turnover and customer reach within your scope.
  • Monitor and analyze sales and market share.
  • Forecast sales and inventory.
  • Daily management of products and their promotion on our website via various tools.
  • Competitive intelligence, market positioning, and adaptation of pricing strategy.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education in purchasing and/or marketing.
  • Generally 2-5 years of experience in IT, with significant experience in managing different IT product categories and IT sales, and a thorough knowledge of distribution, channel sales, and the French IT market, ideally in an international environment.
  • Analytical skills with a good understanding of the business (portfolio management, relationships with partners and various departments).
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Team spirit, adaptability, and integration into a European environment.
  • Creativity, open-mindedness, and initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel in particular).
  • SAP, Power BI, and CRM are a plus.
  • Structured, efficient, and results-oriented.
  • Comfortable with communication and negotiation.
  • Independent and proactive.
  • English is mandatory.
