Your Daily Life

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for building the product line strategy and designing and executing the product line's marketing mix throughout its lifecycle, in line with the Business Line's growth and profitability ambitions and objectives. They work daily as a strategic partner to the Product Line Manager.
Strategic Marketing
- Responsible for building key strategic insights to feed the product plan and the AMS Strategic Business Plan:
- Understanding of the market and competitive dynamics of the product line (market trends, needs analysis, segmentation, sizing, competitive analysis, product benchmarking, innovation trends, regulations, etc.)
- Growth and profitability ambition for their product line (OI / GMOI objective)
- Partnership levers
- Develop the go-to-market strategy with sales teams and segment managers
- Contribute to Black Hats exercises with CMI
- Participate in other product management-related initiatives (competitiveness plans, innovation roadmaps)
Offering Management
- Summarize key market and customer needs and requirements (including pain points)
- Define and test the value proposition (customer segments, value chain positioning, pain relievers / gain creators / gain evaluation)
- Responsible for deploying value-based pricing processes (strategy and positioning)
- Manage the monitoring, updating, and analysis of the product's installed base
- Contribute to building the service portfolio for the product line
- Participate in the design of customer satisfaction surveys
Operational Marketing
Contribute to the branding strategy and its execution for their products in compliance with Thales brand guidelines in collaboration with Communications
Design and execute marketing plans (objectives, KPIs, value proposition, pricing, marketing roadmap, campaigns, installed base actions, etc.)
Define global key messages on product lines and manage content (brochures, presentations, datasheets, etc.)
Support customer engagement initiatives (customer journey mapping, customer community management, sales funnel management, trade shows & events)
Support sales and KAM training (training, digital seller)
Marketing Excellence
Support the deployment of marketing excellence practices within the Business Line (strategic practices, digital content, offering management tools, sales training, etc.)
